g8wave’s MD, Mark Challinor, was recently invited to speak alongside Doug Wills, Managing Editor of the London Evening Standard, at the Pacific Area Newspaper Publishers' Association (PANPA) Future Forum '09 in Australia.

Topics on the agenda included an insight into how the UK press industry was embracing the convergence of media, and the opportunity to explore new ideas generated by our Australian cousins.

Mark expressed his belief that mobile content was the next logical step, and future growth area, after press and the internet for Australian papers. He then went on to speak on how mobile can be used as an interaction tool, a database and revenue generator, and a content distributor.
