Brand identity and customer experience are inextricably

Singles’ has provided an enjoyable, effective dating
experience – online, in-paper and on mobile.
To enhance the brand experience for our Kent Messenger dating
members we have brought together both the ‘Paid’ and ‘Free’ newspaper
dating designs under one integrated ‘Kent Singles’ brand.
To coincide with the Kent Singles launch in-paper, we introduced
a special on-page promotion with all new dating members receiving
free entry into a prize draw to win a four-day trip for two
to France, including Paris, promoted with various-sized ROPs.
The new Text Reply option allowing readers to reply to adverts
by SMS is also proving to be a great success, providing users
with an additional channel to the service.
The re-launch also incorporated a new web dating home page
and a range of buttons and banners to promote the website together
with a special feature promotion offering a FREE 7-day subscription
worth over £7.00 to all new and existing members who
recorded a free voice greeting and registered their mobile.
The aim - to increase the percentage of web members with approved
voice greetings so that they can be cross-promoted within the
newspaper dating section, increasing their chances of dating
success.

A positive customer response, highlighted by an increase in
joins, is just one indication that our efforts have been successful.
In addition, the KM Group continue to successfully provide
its readers with a selection of g8wave’s mobile products
including TxtChat - the industry leading peer-to-peer, moderated
chat service. TxtChat continues to drive strong revenues and
create a growing community of users. We also have a new integrated
web portal due to launch in the near future.
